Meet the JJ Twins
The JJ twins are from Sri Lanka originally but now they reside in Maldives. JJ stands for Julian and Jason. They started publicly with their music in 2012. They left their home country and are now performing in the Maldives 6 nights per week.
The JJ twins write their own music and play the guitar. Their music is mostly a pop R&B style of music with a lot of harmonies and duets together. The majority of their songs are about love.
They stated that one of the reasons why it’s been hard to do music in their home country is that they prefer to do music in English but their country does not have a strong community that favors English music.
