Are You Ready to Feel Better?

Are you ready to feel better?  This is my question for you today.  I’ll ask you again, are you ready to feel better?  We love feeling good, right?  Have you ever have a day in which you felt down, discouraged and bad energy attacks you everywhere you turn?  If you’ve had those kind of days, then here is how you can help yourself feel better with the following tips.

The first step is to look at where your mind is at and focus on clearing your mind.  Your mental state of mind will impact how you feel.  If you find that your mind isn’t clear or relaxed, then you can try to do some kind of activity that will help to clear your mind.  Here are some suggestions to help you with clearing your mind.  You can ride a bike, walk, play music, yoga, meditation, see a movie or any other activity that will help to put you into a relaxed state of mind.

The reason why it’s a good idea to clear your mind first is this will allow you to have a foundation mentally so that you can think about solutions.  If you try to tack solutions while you are in the midst of not feeling as good about it or feeling discouraged, then it could be challenging to come up with good solutions to get through your problem.  You want to work on solutions that come while your state of mind is balanced and not when it is full of any type of anxiety, panic or other negative energies.

Life is like an ocean where there are ups and downs just like the waves go up and down.  Regardless of who you are, everyone experiences highs and lows in life.  With that being said, there are things that you can implement to help yourself feel better more sooner than later.  The first thing starts with clearing your mind and the second is to focus on solutions once you have a clear mind.

This is the beginning step that will help you to have balance in that moment.  If something is out of your control and you can’t think of a solution in that moment, then perhaps you can try your best to release it in that moment.  Think about this for a moment while I pose this question to you.  If you have a problem that’s out of your control, what is sitting there being stressed out and worrying about going to accomplish?  Will it change the problem in that moment?  The answer will most likely be no.  Your energy is better spent trying to make the best of your moment and try to feel better.  You can learn how to compartmentalize your problems so that it doesn’t cause you anxiety and stress in the moment that you can’t do anything about it.

On the contrary, if there is something that you can do about your problem, then it’s time for solution mode.  Work on clearing your mind first and then work on a solution.  This concept won’t make life perfect but at least you can apply these strategies and not feel stuck in the moment.  You will have a map and game plan.

This may help you feel better because your state of mind contributes to how you feel.  And it’s up to you to protect your energy.  You will be able to tackle issues that come your way as a result.  It’s also important to not let people impact your energy and to set boundaries as well.

I will give you an example of protecting your energy so that you can focus on feeling better.  There’s a friend of mind that is in a very negative place and sometimes he gets into these modes where he wants people to respond immediately regardless of what they are doing.  He decides to send me messages back to back.  Anyone who knows me knows that that’s one of my biggest pet peeves.  I’m not a fan of people calling back to back or leaving messages back to back.  I chose to not respond because it would have resulted in a negative conversation.  Some people may consider that rude, but in my mind, why go through the hassle of talking to someone while they are in that state of mind?  Once he calms down and it’s a different day, then yes I don’t mind communication.  The point here is it’s up to us to protect our own energy.  Whoever doesn’t understand will eventually understand through your actions.  And if they don’t understand, then that’s something that’s simply out of your control.

You can do this.  You can apply these strategies to help yourself feel better and to have a clear mind.  It doesn’t mean that life will be perfect, but you can take these steps so that as different challenging scenarios in life happen, you will have the tools to get yourself back to a centered place.

Some of this may sound like common sense, but I’ve learned that commons sense is not so common.  Sometimes as people, we need reminders.  I’ve discovered this multiple times.  Even if it’s something that we already know, this can help us to implement these tools during those challenging moments.

Here’s another suggestion that will help you.  As good things happen in your life, you can write it down or voice note it in a journal.  This will give you a reference point.  If you ever have a moment that you’re feeling bad or down, you will able to go and look at it because we’re all human.  Sometimes we need those confirmations.

I recently took some time to look at comments on YouTube, emails, surveys and other places.  Ninety percent of the feedback was positive.  People were saying how these things are helping them, changing their lives and they want the videos, podcasts and blogs to keep coming.  That was inspiring and it motivates me to continue to want to bring these things to you.

Just remember, you can learn the tools to make yourself feel better.  You can get to a place where when challenges happen, you can zoom through those challenges and you won’t stay down for too long.  Thank your taking the time to read this.
